Upgrade Fedora 31 to Fedora 32 Workstation using GUI (Graphical User Interface) mode

Fedora 32 was released on 28 April, 2020. You have landed at correct page, if you want to upgrade Fedora 31 to Fedora 32 workstation using GUI (Graphical User Interface). There are two ways to upgrade Fedora Linux.

In this post, we’ll see some easy steps to upgrade from Fedora 31 to Fedora 32 Workstation using GUI mode. 
Note: We recommend you to make a data or VM backup before attempting any upgrade activity.

Upgrade Fedora 31 to Fedora 32 using GUI

Step 1: Choose Software from GNOME Shell
Step 2Choose “Updates” tab in GNOME Shell and you should see a screen that Fedora 32 is Now Available.

Step 3: Click on “Download” to fetch the upgraded packages , This may take time…that depends on internet speed and system configuration.
 
Step 4Fedora 32 is ready to installed. Restart your system to upgrade your system. Upgrading of system may take longer time… 
Enter root or user’s password and click on “Authenticate”.
Click on “Restart”
Step 5System upgrading is in progress…
Step 6System will reboot one more time, when system finished upgrading and installing all the packages. Hurrah! You have upgraded your Fedora 31 to Fedora 32 Workstation.
